Murray Mexted is the founder and Managing Director of the International Rugby Academy. He was educated at Tawa College and Victoria University, Wellington. A former All Black Number 8, Murray played in every All Black international between 1979-86. He also played first class rugby in South Africa and France. In addition to his playing background Murray has an extensive club and provincial coaching background. He was a National Sevens Selector and is a renowned television commentator and rugby analyst for Sky Television.
Murray has a strong business background including thirteen years as Managing Director/General Manager of a Mitsubishi Motors Franchise where he developed and implemented the strategies necessary to successfully evolve into a large commercial operation. In this time he identified many new opportunities important for the synergy and overall company success.
