San Diego, CA (December 10, 2014) – Want to be a part of the Vegas action? Then cap off your Friday night at the USA 7s by taking a seat at the 6th Annual I’Maul In No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament. The action takes place at the Poker Room at the Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino.
Located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip and host to the international teams playing in the Las Vegas Sevens Tournament, the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino is ideally located for the annual I’Maul In tournament.
The first hand will be dealt at 10:30 pm. In order to take part in this year’s I’Maul In Tournament, participants must pre-register. The cost to reserve your seat is $40. Seating is limited to the first 100 players so register now to save your seat.
The buy-in for the I’Maul In No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament is $60 per player with $50 rebuys and a one-time $50 add-on also available. The Monte Carlo receives a portion of the initial buy-in for hosting the event. The remainder from the initial buy-in and all monies from the rebuys and add-on will go into the player prize pool. 10% of the number of total registrants will get paid so spread the word so we can get to the full allotment of 100 players.
2011 I’Maul In Tournament Champion Gary Lambert is back to recapture his title. He’ll be joined by fellow past U.S. Eagles Mike Saunders, Dan Payne, Jay Hanson, Rick Crivellone, Tim Kluempers, Brian Vizard and Greg Teliczan. Past Canadian internationals Al Charron and Tom Woods will be trying to take the Tilted Kilt I’Maul In championship trophy north of the border. In addition, retired 10 year NFL veteran Seth Payne will be there. So too will be 2004 World Series of Poker bracelet winner and former Las Vegas Blackjacks rugby player Blair Rodman. Rumor also has it that co-champion of the first I’Maul In tournament way back in 2010, Steve Hynes, will have a seat in this year’s event.
In addition to the first place money, the winner will also receive the coveted 2015 I’Maul In No Limit Texas Hold ’em Poker Tournament crystal trophy. Last Year’s winner, Martin Olsen, took home the crystal trophy and nearly $1,200, and had five hours of fun in the process.
