San Diego, CA (January 9, 2019) – Get into the swing of things at the 2019 USA Sevens by signing up for the 12th Annual U.S. Rugby Foundation Scrumble Golf Tournament. The Scrumble will take place at the Las Vegas National Golf Courseon Friday, March 1, 2019.

Since its completion in 1961, “The National” has had a long and storied history in Las Vegas golf lore and with Hollywood. During the 1960s, The National played host to the biggest names on the Strip, including Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Joey Bishop and Sammy Davis, Jr. More recently, The National was featured in the movie “Casino”, starring Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci. The house used in the movie sits off to the left of the #1 Tee Box between the #1 and #18 fairways.

The National was also the site for several PGA events and past winners include Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Lanny Wadkins and Al Geiberger. Tiger Woods, Davis Love III and Jim Furyk all played rounds at The National on their way to victories at the Las Vegas Invitational tournament.

Play will begin with an 8:00 am shotgun start. Register now to ensure your spot in the tournament.
