About Us

The United States Rugby Foundation has reorganized as a Delaware not-for-profit corporation. Donations and contributions made to the Foundation by individuals or organizations are exempt from U.S. Federal and State Tax in accordance with the Foundation’s status as a 501(c)3 organization. Please note our new EIN is 81-5187776. Foundation assets earmarked for giving are dispersed in the form of grants to individuals and organizations that have demonstrable needs or requests that meet the guidelines established by the USRF.

San Diego, CA (September 15, 2009) – The United States Rugby Foundation has announced its latest Ball Grant recipients. Over the years, the USRF has provided thousands of size 4 and 5 balls to hundreds of rugby clubs and community programs.

“The Rugby Foundation is proud to contribute to the continued growth of youth rugby in the US,” said USRF Executive Director, Brian Vizard. “It won’t be long before many of our youth players are displaying their skills on college sides across the country.”

The USRF is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization established in 1963. Although its main focus is supporting youth and high school rugby, the Foundation also provides grants to coaches and referees; establishes international student exchanges and college scholarships, has assisted the United States Collegiate All-Americans and Boys Under-19 teams, and also provides grants to Safety and Risk Management Research.
