Youth & Development

We assist youth and high school rugby clubs and community programs across the country. From Ball and Match Day Tent Grants, and Start-up Kits, to supporting Inner City Youth & High School organizations, we are helping to grow the game from the ground up by providing the basic equipment programs need to be successful.

The development of youth and high school rugby has been designated as the primary mission of the Foundation. As such, the Foundation has provided hundreds of grants to meet a wide range of needs: to support and develop youth and high school rugby; to improve coaching and refereeing by promoting the attendance of coaches and referees at USA Rugby clinics, and by providing grants to domestic and international coaching and refereeing courses; and to promote the positive image of rugby and its value of sportsmanship.
