David Bruck

David Bruck is the CEO and founder of Baobab Foods LLC. He founded The TryLine Group, a chemical distribution company in 1988 and sold it in 2018. He was past president of the Western Region of the National Association of Chemical Distributors in 1987-88 and on the board of the governing body of the NACD during those years.

A native of Ohio, David attended Ohio State University where he discovered rugby. He played for Scioto Valley RFC in their founding year, Vail RFC the summer of 1974, the first ever Ohio Rugby Union side in 1975. He moved to Seattle with Ashland Chemical and began a 12 year career with Old Puget Sound Beach RFC. He played for the Washington RFU and the Pacific NW RFU and was the secretary of the Pacific Coast RFU in 1986 to 1990. He was the 5 time president of OPSB. One of the founders of the PNW RFU, and past president of the Washington RFU. He resides in Seattle with his wife, Jane.
