Robert Voth
Robert co-leads the Consumer & Commercial Financial Services (CCFS) practice at Russell Reynolds Associates (RRA), a $1B global leadership advisory firm with 600+ consultants in 47 offices. A seasoned veteran of executive search and leadership assessment & development, Robert has responsibility for scaling the practice globally through new client development, growth within existing relationships, large-scale project management, partner recruitment and retention, the development of new processes and IP, and speaking throughout North America at major conferences.
Robert’s global practice focuses on serving leading financial services companies, transaction processors, fintechs, and private equity firms with enterprise-wide executive and board search, leadership assessment, and succession projects. Since joining RRA as a Managing Director in 2015, Robert has grown the practice from $5M to $30M in billings, generated numerous CEO and Board searches, launched enterprise-wide assessment projects at Fortune 500 companies, and built the practice through organic growth as well as through the recruitment of numerous associates and partners.
Under Robert’s leadership, the CCFS practice and its members have been featured as keynote speakers at Money2020, the Consumer Bankers Association Annual CBA Live Conference, the Risk Management Association, and America Banker’s Retail Banking and Digital Banking conferences. Robert has been featured in articles in Forbes, Bloomberg, American Banker, CIO Today, Institutional Investor, National Mortgage News, Credit Union Journal, and USA Today.
Prior to joining RRA in 2015, Robert spent 17 years in senior leadership roles with CTPartners, a publicly held global executive search firm. Robert is a member of the board for Make-A-Wish Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. He received a BA in history from Kenyon College in 1992 and lives in Cleveland, OH with his wife Susan. He and Susan are the proud parents of two boys, Bobby and Hayden.
Robert’s rugby career began at Kenyon College and continued with Loyola University in Chicago and the Seoul Survivors while a teacher in Seoul, South Korea. He last played for the Cleveland Rovers before becoming a coach for the developmental team at Cleveland St. Ignatius High School. His oldest son captained the 2022 St. Ignatius High School 15’s National Championship team and his youngest is active in the school’s 7’s program.
