Brian Vizard ("Vizzy") served as the President of the US Rugby Foundation (USRF) for 20 years! Over the last two decades, Vizard transformed the USRF into a driving force for promoting and growing rugby across the U.S. The Eagle legend was honored on November 15th at The Vizzy Scrumble charity golf tournament for his commitment and dedication to rugby on and off the pitch.

Each year, the US Rugby Foundation provides grants for referees!

The Shanagher-Morrison Referee Development Fund offers financial support to U.S. referees for training courses and competition opportunities, nationally and internationally. The grant focuses on applicants committed to improving their skills and officiating at the highest levels.

This Fund pays tribute to two legendary referees in U.S. rugby history, Denis Shanagher Sr. and Don Morrison, both inducted into the U.S. Rugby Hall of Fame.
